YOU ONLY GET ONE FIRST IMPRESSION

It is May and the long winter is finally over!

If you are trying to sell your home, it is time to get your landscape "sale ready".
After all, you only get one chance to make a good first impression.

The first thing buyers see, is the outside of your home so the landscaping is important.
Getting your lawn ready for the spring buying season does not have to be expensive.
Check out our list of suggestions for getting your landscaping in shape!

1.  Clean it up -
Removing dead plants or bushes and clearing debris such as leaves, branches, trash
and sand is a great start!

2.   Trim & Tidy
Mowing the lawn and trimming bushes and
               overgrown plants are important.  Weeding
planting beds and edging the beds, walkways
and driveway will make a big impact.

3.  Add Color
Add a few well placed colorful flowers or plants
can  draw attention to your home.  Freshening the
paint on the front door is an easy
               eye-catching upgrade.

4.  Down to the Details
Put away the toys, lawn gnomes and pink flamingos....
they don't sell houses.  Hiding the trash cans and garden hose also are helpful.
Adding mulch to the garden beds instead will give your landscape a boost.

5.  Easy Access
Make sure the driveway and walkway are free of toys and debris and
that the entry is well lit so accessing the  entry of your home is easy
                 for potential buyers.

6.  Backyard Blues
Don't forget your backyard, patios and decks.  Cleaning decks, porches and
lawn furniture are low cost ways to make a great impression on potential buyers.

Most buyers form an impression of your home before they even set foot into the front door.
The goal of landscaping to sell should be to make your home look well cared for and welcoming.  For very little money and a little work, you can give your landscape a boost
and improve the first impression of your home....after all
"you only get one first impression".
